They also commented down below that they detected abnormalities (the screen outside the building flickering, the takeover of their official account by some strange post calling for 妹妹…), hunters don’t panic!

Beyond the "jealousy" nonsense, there is a much deeper, more heartbreaking reason why a child feels narratively wrong for them😣 Xavier’s entire existence is defined by the weight of time and the fragility of human life compared to his own. He knows better than anyone that "forever" is a heavy burden, and bringing a new life into a world where he has seen civilizations crumble and "goodbye" doesn't exist feels almost cruel. Their bond is so intensely focused on the two of them reclaiming what was stolen across lifetimes; adding a child shifts that focus from their hard-won reunion to a domesticity that doesn't quite fit the cosmic tragedy of their story. They are each other's beginning and end, and there's something so much more poetic about them just being enough for one another🥹 They deserve a "happily ever after" where they are the center of each other’s world without having to share that space because they’ve earned that exclusive, uninterrupted peace. Let them just travel, eat together, and sleep for twelve hours straight without a child waking them up. After everything the universe threw at them, they’ve earned the right to be a little "selfish" with their time together🥺
