@OVO_BERE @dontfwmeok A lot of this comes from people being unable to separate the art from the artist. Instead of discussing the music itself, they turn liking or disliking an artist into a moral statement and shame others who disagree. Hence why individualism is often crossed of as performative.

The solution to this is for everyone to stop arguing with each other over music opinions. Someone tells me “I don’t like Drake” I ask them if they like R&B or Rap, and depending on their response, I reccomend them a song or 2 from drakes discog. If they still don’t like it, thats their opinion, doesn’t mean I have to agree with it.
