I’ve been asked a few times how I memorise my ritual so quickly. I have a tendency to be able to read a piece and be able to recite it within an hour or so. It all comes down to practice and memory techniques as used by actors. Below is a thread of my favourite methods 🧵

I'll start. My first visit to @burghleylodge was just before Covid. I hadn't long been in the area. I was made so welcome, and I saw some incredible ritual. I waited for Lodges to be open again post-covid, and my visit stuck with me so much I became a joining member! I'm JD now!

The November meeting of Burghley Lodge was held on Wednesday at Stamford Masonic Centre. The Ceremony for the evening was the Raising of Bro. Tam DuKett. The Worshipful Master W.Bro Ray Reid splendidly; assisted by his fantastic officers. #freemasons #freemasonry #masonic

The WM subsequently then appointed his Wardens Steven Thompson – SW and Stephen Benn – JW, followed by the rest of his Officers. As always in Stamford a fine festive board was provided by Andy and his team.

The Burghley Lodge No.9364 held their Installation meeting on Wednesday 11th October with RW Bro. Mark Constant PGM in attendance with his DC W.Bro Robin Porter ProvDepGDC. The new WM, W.Bro Ray Reid, was expertly and sincerely installed by his predecessor W.Bro Bryan Birchall.
