Turkey has passed new rules for Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, and other game platforms. The law affects any foreign platform with more than 100,000 daily users in Turkey. These platforms must appoint a local representative and show their contact details clearly on the site. All games sold in Turkey must display an official age rating, games without one will be labeled 18+. Platforms must also add simple parental controls, like purchase limits and time settings. Platforms will have 12 months total to get ready, if platforms do not follow the rules, they face warnings, fines, and possible internet slowdowns. Full blocks were removed from the plan.
