Everyone on the right lost their minds over this… Yes, I agree that a national conceal and carry should be for everyone, but did you guys ever think that maybe, just maybe, they might be able to chip away at some of these restrictions on our rights incrementally where they may not be successful from an all encompassing standpoint? The left has used this tactic for a long time because they understand this concept. Why is this hard for people on the right? Let’s think strategically for a minute about the problem set before you start freaking out about it. I think they are starting with a specific subset of the population that is already trusted with firearms in hopes that they can expand it in time to larger groups of the population. That’s what makes sense strategically. We are literally fighting democratic legislatures and activist democratic judges that will make a national conceal and carry for all citizens very difficult to pass. Stop reacting to every piece of information with the first emotion that enters your brain and understand that this fight against the left is, and forever will be, a process.

I just keep seeing hit after hit with this same subject from the media. This midwit palace intrigue nonsense as the latest angle to drive wedges in the War Department. That’s all the media can do after all, right? Divide. That’s not all they’re capable of doing, but it’s all they do. It’s not just them though, it’s the hyper “credentialed” elite in academia, politics, and other spheres that back all of this up. Let me explain why these “elites” react the way they do to @PeteHegseth and others. No matter how many credentials they have, they cannot stir the souls of men to action. T.E. Lawrence wrote that nine-tenths of tactics can be taught. The last tenth cannot. I call this “The Tenth Flame”. That is the part the credentialed never understand. They can study war, annotate war, measure war, and still never possess the spirit that makes men move. They know the mechanics. They do not and CANNOT carry the fire. And that is what enrages them. Because the tenth flame is something almost everyone can recognize, but not everyone can have. They see it in certain men and recoil. Not because it’s fake. Because it is real. Because no school gave it. No board certified it. No institution can manufacture it. It can’t be trained it into a man. Only revealed in the fire. That is why this age overvalues credentials. Credentials can certify the nine-tenths. They can never certify the last part that matters. The spirit. The temper. The force at the center. A sword can be polished for years. Balanced, bright, and beautiful. But if it was never tempered, the first hard strike breaks it. That is our expert class. And they will continue to recoil at this intangible. This “tenth flame”. Because it invokes spirit. The same spirit that the experts among us try removing from every fabric of society. From every person who exhibits it. It’s up to us to ensure they never get the chance.

Under international law, transit through waterways like the Strait of Hormuz must remain open and free of charge. This is what leaders made clear in their call on reopening the Strait today. Any pay-for-passage scheme will set a dangerous precedent for global maritime routes. Iran has to abandon any plan to levy transit fees. Europe will play its part in restoring the free flow of energy and trade, once a ceasefire takes hold. The EU’s Aspides naval mission is already operating in the Red Sea and can be quickly strengthened to protect shipping across the region. This could be the fastest way to provide support.

Some of you know I am a whistleblower. I was a whistleblower due to safety reasons related to my Commanding Officer and former friend trying to take/send broken airplanes flying. I endured the whole gamut of retaliation as a result. At my Board of Inquiry, I explained why I was there: I tried to keep my former friend from turning himself into a smoking hole, and he took issue with that and engaged in a systematic scheme of retaliation in collusion with his O6 boss and the Admiral. Several days ago, he was in a General Aviation aircraft as the instructor/evaluator, and he and his student turned themselves into a smoking hole doing stupid things in a Baron that should never have been done at the altitude in question. I don't know how I feel about this. Please pray for his family and for his immortal soul and the family and immortal soul of his (much older) student. I hate being right all the time...
