@jordanfigs I like to visit the common spaces where students hang out...library, gym, outside...also where students are participating in extra curricular...clubs, committees, plays, sports. Seeing them engage in their passions helps me align mine.

When I start to feel disjointed at work, I do one or more of the following; ➡️ visit a classroom ✅ ➡️ chat with students ✅ ➡️ chat with teachers ✅ ➡️ chat with non-teaching staff (AAs, custodians,etc.) ✅ ➡️ phone a friend ✅ ➡️ close my computer ✅ Guess is need people! ❤️

Sometimes I forget how tough it is to be a kid. Mecci went to Regionals for highjump today...and being the smallest in the group...he was incredibly nervous. He is in Gr 4 & everyone else was in Gr 6...but he ended up placing 4th overall! Proud of his resilience! @missdfedy
