@DesireeAmerica4 Offered to help change a flat one day, was told my help wasnt needed. Drove by an hr later and saw them in the same spot. They had put the spare on but couldn't tighten the nuts. Explained they had to lower jack to stop wheel from spinning. Hopefully, they learned something 🙂

You see two women on the shoulder wrestling a spare tire out of the trunk. Your dad would’ve pulled over before the blinker finished clicking like this guy. You? You’re doing the math. One woman alone feels like a setup. TikTok prank, insurance scam, or worse. But two women? That changes the equation. Safer for them, safer for you. The Good Samaritan instinct only kicks in when the risk feels manageable. We’ve gone from "help a lady change her tire" to "keep driving and hope AAA shows up." Not because we’re worse people, but because courtesy now comes with a liability waiver. You want to be the hero, not the headline. When did helping strangers become a calculated risk?

An elder fellow, on this river this morning, gave me this fly. It would be a great pattern done in black & sized down to a #16/18 to match the constant hatches of Chimarra on the river lately. Got to get back on the vice soon. #flytying #tyingflies #flyfishing

@idbusa @Frisco_Tom Purple is such a surprisingly effective color for trout. I recently tried a Purple Haze parachute after getting numerous rejections on Adam's parachutes and BWO parachutes. As soon as that Haze touched the water, the trout took it.

Purple Peccary Perdigon. I really like the way a Purple Dart works, but I wanted something smaller. The 2nd picture I took a Magenta Sharpie and mixed the clear resin to give it some color. Loving the Deep Purple Peccary by Happy Javelina
