If you keep getting fouled over and over, you feel you have to respond with equal physicality to hold onto the ball. He got out of control, but it definitely affects your mentality in that moment when crazy physicality is allowed. It's called a ref keeping control of the game

Sure marathon pulled resources, but acting like players weren't already exhausted isnt accurate. It needs a forge mode, meaningful clan systems, player housing, true MMO elements, and things that go far beyond new weapons or activities. Thats what I dream of when I think of D3.

I feel marathon unfairly gets a lot of flak for "causing destiny's downfall" as many claim it did. Destiny has been heading down this road for quite some time. The franchise fatigue has consumed the playerbase. If it wants to thrive instead barely survive, it needs to evolve.

@MacticsG1 I had more fun in my rook runs before I unlocked WSTR. Playing sneaky boi/stealing command wing is 10/10. I don’t pretend to live in the 1% of players that can walk into a rook runs and wipe the lobby. The disconnect between top players and the rest of us is so weird.

People will respond to this with some nonsense like “GOOD! rook runs are supposed to be HARD! you gotta work for the loot!” as if 99% rooks werent any threat whatsoever to any competent team They were basically mosquitos at worst. Now they are target practice. Poor rookies.
