Proud to represent @UMNplantbreed at CIMMYT this last week where I learned about international breeding, met with incredible scientists, and ate the best food of my life. Truly a highlight of my grad career.

This last week I got the opportunity to visit CIMMYT (the center for maize and wheat improvement) to talk with scientists about global agriculture, see pyramids (Teotihuacan), and eat some a-maize-ing food! Thank you @UMNplantbreed and @CIMMYT for this incredible experience!

Today was my last day coordinating lunch and learns for phyto-grads at UMN. I started this program a year ago to help grad students get a jump start on research by learning skills from others who already had expertise. Thank you to the participants, I look forward to attending!
