Reality is that no one person and no single group will bring the @Montreal_Expos back alone. It takes an alchemist, an architect, a patient masochist willing to invest the time, energy, money, relationships, and emotional bandwidth required to assemble the pieces, sequence the process properly, and position Montreal for success. It has now been 168 days since November 29, 2025 — the day I volunteered to help mobilize the effort. Alone, I could do nothing. It's all fuelled by fundamentals and the fans. And 168 days in, I’d say 99.9% of people have been supportive, encouraging, and appreciative. But there remains a tiny fragment of people who claim to be fans, claim to want the Expos back, yet cannot get over their own ego, pride, sycophancy, or social loyalties. You hear things like: “I support the team, but not you.” Or: “So-and-so would never even give you the time of day.” You think I care? You think the loser who spends his days talking and not doing anything matters here? He's noise. He's distraction. He's useless. And he is many people but if you think I am referring to you, then guilty as charged. These are people who talked endlessly for years, accomplished nothing, and now that real momentum, traction, investor interest, and progress exist, cannot emotionally process it because of envy, insecurity, jealousy, or tribalism. Fine. You think winners don't have their denigrators. You think champions win because people let them. When the dust settles, history will distinguish between: those who built, those who helped, those who supported, and those who merely talked. And the funniest part? I don’t even need to be involved long-term unless MLB, the investors, and the real fans want me involved. So if some people still want to sit in the replies spouting bitterness and nonsense, go ahead. You are a loser and always will be. And, you know it, and everyone in the city knows it. Their true colours have been revealed. The rest of us are focused on bringing baseball back to Montreal. Get out of our freakin' way.
