Lagos is one funny place to live in.

I once lived in one area that had a hotel & lounge opposite each other.
Their speakers were so loud that you could go deaf from the sound right in your room even with your windows shut.
I am a night person, so I do my Bible study & prayers mostly at midnight.
I remember praying one night whilst the speaker from the lounge was blazing heavily through my windows, even though they were shut.
Apart from the fact that I work as a radio presenter and I get to play secular songs, I also got to know most of those songs from the hotel & lounge.
That particular night, I lost my line of prayer when Tiwa Savage’s song-Koroba came up.
I suddenly heard myself saying “Father Lord, I no come this life to suffer”.😂
Even though that sounded valid, I knew I had to stop before adding the next line of lyric.
That area tormented me much sha.
