Anybody who does not fit societies standard faces judgement and discrimination, obviously there are layers to this with racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia and more. There will always be similarities and differences with peoples experiences, but it’s important we all listen

i think a lot of discourse on butchfemmetwt would be resolved if people just stopped viewing everything as butch vs femme. yeah butches do not get enough love and are treated horribly especially irl but femmes are also constantly harassed and not viewed as "real lesbians"

Something I don’t think a lot of people realise is quite how people viewing you as a masculine woman/ butch affects almost all of your interactions. I literally can not have a disagreement with somebody outside my circle who doesn’t resort to my looks, it’s people’s first attack
