Congratulations to Dani Labrada-Gray. This evening she was recognized as the GCPS 2024 Teacher of the Year! I know she will represent BSES and GCPS well!

4th & 5th grade students had an on-campus field trip presented by the US Forest Service! They saw a presentation that was an overview of the paired watershed study and an outdoor demonstration on the school grounds about tree ID and measurement. What a great learning experience!

We had our 1st Read Across BSES Day! Students got to read with students in a different grade level! Reading is the key to great learning success! Here are pictures of 4th grade and 1st grade students reading to each other. 💜💛

The Butner Stem ES Bulldogs average attendance was over 97.58% for March 2024!!!!!!!!!!! This was 4.3% increase from February! Thank you for ensuring that your child attends school daily!

This weekend, GreyStone Church demonstrated their commitment to community service by partnering with Butner Stem Elementary to construct a greenhouse!

It's Read Across America Week!

On February 28th, students at Butner Stem Elementary School had the opportunity to participate in school clubs.

During Specials time all 5th grade students and Specials teachers met in the gym, so students could finish working on their science projects. Teams designed, built, and tested a Roller Coaster track!

We had an amazing Black History Month Program presented by our REACH staff and students!
