While we determined the gain compensation 2 months ago, we did extensive testing to ensure that they provided the benefit needed by hearing aid wearers.

FYI: our mask recommendations are a result of 2 months of lab speech tests, sound quality tests, computer modeling, and beta tests. We tested different masks, face shields, and combos. Paper being submitted for peer review.

Very excited to get this out. We conducted speech and sound quality tests with hearing aid wearers, applied auditory modeling, and tested configurations of masks and face shields. Clinician feedback has been positive.
