I don’t think it’s a stretch to reference the things it would’ve picked up from David as part of what it is still. I mean, it still does the arm curl after all this time, so I’m sure there are plenty of other things it still does or prefers that it got from David

When it comes to how Mimic grew into what it is between the books and the games, the things that are still similar or the same really help flesh out what kind of individual Mimic is despite how messy and brutal most of its behavior is…I like to learn little things about it

I assume whatever David liked to do, Mimic subconsciously likes too That was the case in TFTPP with how it was copying him and his preferences, so with Mimic now having originally been made to become David, that makes even more sense…Just innate things it gravitates to liking
