pretty much everyone in the modern era has something that they're going through or have gone through. even the damn animatronics themselves. just because it's not just children doesn't mean it's suddenly not full of tragedy

and besides mimic isn't even the only character in that context; the entire situation with cassie's dad is pretty fucked up too

people who say FNAF isn't tragic anymore aren't really paying attention to why the mimic is the way it is. it's not just "hype moments and aura"
