Hemicaloosia sp. are common on turf in Florida. These sheath nematodes only have a sheath on about half of juveniles and none on adults. Female top left, male top right. Juveniles with and without sheath on bottom

Despite the application of the fumigant at pre-plant, crops are heavily infected with root-knot nematodes at the end-season. This poses a major threat to the second crop in the double cropping system which is very common in the plasticulture. @UFGulfCoastNema
