Internationally renowned artist Rob Surette returned today after our three day Student and Artist in Residence sessions to unveil our Byam Be Kind Mosaic! Every student and staff contributed a lego piece to the secret masterpiece unveiled today of our Louie lion mascot!

1st graders learned about monarch butterfly migration, and they read the bilingual children’s book “Señorita Mariposa” by Mister G! They created symmetrical butterflies using a cool technique using black glue and folded paper! 🦋 Next we’ll add paint! #symmetry #senioritamariposa
