Cal Raleigh, good defensive catcher, power is hot and cold, non existent contact skills, is good at timing up stolen bases but does not have the speed to be an elite base runner for his position #23 prospect in the farm currently. Don't think he'll be much in the show.

@thee_mooks He's a career 120 wRC+ against lefties, and Ryan Bliss currently can't hit. Speed and Energy doesn't mean anything if we can't get on base

@thee_mooks Rodden also got back off the IL this week, so it's not like they've been picking someone over him. He hasn't been an option due to being hurt.

@thee_mooks Rodden will get called up when they deem him ready, but until then yeah they will sign random guys like Weston. But Rodden is an upgrade defensively (MiLB gold glove for 3B, also plays SS and 2B at a high level, learning LF), and provides a lot of value with his bat too.
