@ProjectVirginia Not rap in particular, any genre. TBH I also cannot remember a rap album that blew me away.

@byedawae rap is probably the only genre in existence where I couldn't point you to something that would blow you away with its excellence

trust me you're nowhere near as offended as I am about the decline and fall of music quality in the United States we used to be the best in every way imaginable... now it's reduced to rutting barbarians boasting into microphones backed up by an automated beat box

@ProjectVirginia I liked TPAB and Flower Boy. Granted, the most music education I got was the percussion section in my high school band, but I don't find it offensive to listen to. Some stuff definitely sucks. I hate 'Lil Baby.' I'd say around half the space is a no-go. Any album recs?

@byedawae the entire "rap space" is completely off-putting I liked Run DMC when it was a novelty seeing that turn into a major genre is an absolute nightmare for anyone with any sort of musical education
