This is so WILD to keep seeing. And it's every single season something new/different because people aren't getting into the fundamentals of 'why' they do things. Does anyone bother to quantify how much time you're saving at 15+ minutes when having an APC/ADC/Top Laner hit a turret? Of course no one has quantified it, because that would be approaching the game at a fundamental level to try to discern if our decisions have value or how they move the win probability bar. Instead we smorc and zug-zug because we don't bother to ask difficult or actual laboring questions / do research on things. (Same as herald) VOIDGRUBS SAVE YOU ON AVERAGE 1 AUTO ATTACK PER 8 AUTO-ATTACKS IN MID GAME. On average/in general if you have ALL 5 champions hitting a turret you will destroy it rough 10 seconds faster! If it was starting at full hp. ASSUMING THREE VOID GRUBS. It saves LESS than 10 seconds if you don't have 3 voidgrubs. If it the turret was NOT starting at full hp you will save significantly less time as the burn has to tick. Try quantifying how ridiculous the conditions for this are and also the realities where something like this even happens. Split-pushing is a dead concept essentially, so you can apply the every 8 autos you save 1 second of time, and then run a calculation of X multipled by Y = Z to determine how much value it even adds to side lane. Then swing this back to win-probability bar and how to evaluate decisions that you make in game and why you do things. And suddenly you realize that teams are opting in to 50/50 or 40/60 or 30/70 or 20/80 situations - LOSING MORE ON DROPPED WAVES AND TURRET DAMAGE MIND YOU - in order to attempt to deny what is likely a decimal point win-probability increase in the event that they don't contest the voidgrubs at all and instead opt to just keep farming. The probability win-rate swing on the victory or loss of the fight is an odd thing to entertain opting into if you truly believe yourself to be better. In fact it's wholly illogical and devoid of thought, rather just emotion.
