Ben Wreschner of @VodafoneGroup: 5 key points: 1) This is all about European competitiveness, not a single sector. 2) Best in class digital infrastructure is critical to that competitiveness and EU economic growth. 3) There is an investment gap of €200b give or take. 4) There is no single solution for this gap - fair contribution is a part solution but we need a set of policy reforms to get us across the line. 5) This is not a zero-sum game. We need a win-win-win co-investment approach, to find the right mechanism that all can close the digital decade investment gap. #FairContribution offers the right incentives - to optimise traffic - and to contribute to the cost of carrying that content. #EAdebate
