@Thomas_Astruc Retcon king it’s ok to admit it was a forgotten concept but they are literally yin and yang in the box, they are good luck / bad luck, it seemed heavily implied in the earlier seasons but then forgotten once marinette got her box

I think it was definitely more prominent in the earlier seasons,as well as the whole miraculous' backstory and kwamis but we kinda lost it all after late season 2/season 3..

@luvchaton Adrien noticing the similarities between marinette and ladybug after the monarch reveal (adrienette breakup) and slowly piecing it together - starts visiting marinette at night as chat noir to comfort her since he can’t as adrien because marinette is pushing him away

#mlbtwt why did they not take the miraculous back in 5x01 when monarch was immobilised back in fu’s time? They took only the rabbit miraculous despite monarch using the dogs power on it, when they could’ve taken the dog miraculous to break the bond and grab whatever else??

@bylerbasement no i definitely agree with this !!! s5 was such a BIG upgrade. there were just too many plots introduced, which is kinda different from the first 3 seasons—and what fans were used to

@bugchaton @bambicina I’m so glad you get it! The animation is incredible but it’s just such a huge jump from what everyone’s used to, I feel like I’m watching a new show and can’t connect at all😭 I wish I could still see it as the same show

@bylerbasement @bambicina same it’s mostly the new designs i think, like i can recognize the animation is better per se but i reaaally hate the face modeling (and some movement is really awkward). i’ve been a fan since season 1 was airing and this has seriously been my one major struggle with mlb yet 😭😭

There’s so much more detail but I think it’s just the combination for me - Paris looks different, the characters look different, it’s all new “sets” (e.g. new school) and the writing is different it just honestly seems like a different show to me

@bylerbasement @dandadania @AJlol555 i was like that too but honestly because i’m an animation nerd i started watching again to inspect the differences and study the new animation but the plot is just soo good this season, i got invested again really fast 😭 i recommend it if u wanna try again, u get used to it

@dandadania @AJlol555 @bambicina I’m genuinely not saying it’s bad at all, but I’ve been watching it since like 2018 and I just can’t adapt to it, like it feels like a different show entirely and I keep trying to watch it but I can’t feel that same connection to the plot / characters
