@50twoperCent @DanCardenMP If we open later, open weekends and start delivery. This will cost a lot more in wages, energy bills and delivery services want 35% commission. We have 2 very busy shops but people soon won’t be able to afford it.

Byrnes Fish and Chips opened in 1932. It continued serving during the Second World War. It survived the 1980s slump, the financial crash and Covid. But faced with the #CostOfLivingCrisis, it is one of many local, independent businesses at risk of going under without support.
