In LinkedIn, he’s tryin’ na say: After much reflection and introspection, I have made the deliberate decision to step away from my role in full-stack development to pursue a new path that aligns more deeply with my values and long-term vision. Effective immediately, I will be focusing my energy and expertise on building a sustainable and scalable beans bread business. This is not a temporary pivot or a side hustle, it is a full commitment to creating generational wealth through a product that is deeply rooted in our culture and daily lives. I kindly request that this transition be respected. I am intentionally minimising distractions during this critical phase so I can give the venture the focus and discipline it deserves. My goal is clear: to build a brand that creates lasting value, employs others, and stands the test of time. The skills I developed as a full-stack developer, systems thinking, problem-solving, user-centric design, and building scalable solutions, will now be applied to perfecting operations, optimising supply chains, and creating exceptional customer experiences in the food space. I am no longer just a software engineer. I am stepping into the role of a bean architect, designing and constructing something meaningful from the ground up. This decision was not made lightly. It comes from a place of clarity, courage, and the desire to build something that outlives me. I am excited about what lies ahead and grateful for the journey that brought me here. Thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far. I look forward to sharing updates as this new chapter unfolds.

I’ll be quitting tech to start selling akara. I don’t want any distractions please. Nobody should try to stop me. My focus now is building akara generational wealth. From full-stack developer to full-time bean architect. 💪🏾

You can now pay for things in Africa directly from your AI agent. Today we’re introducing Paystack Index, the easiest way to check out with Paystack merchants through Claude, ChatGPT, OpenClaw, and any AI agent. At launch, you can: → Buy airtime: “Buy ₦500 MTN airtime for 080…” → Send money with @zapbypaystack: “Send ₦25k to…” → Buy food with @ChowdeckHQ: “Order jollof under ₦3k near me” As more merchants join the Index, you’ll be able to do more, from booking rides and ordering groceries to paying utility bills, quickly and securely. Paystack Index is now available in Nigeria, with more African markets coming soon. An experimental product from Paystack and TSG Labs.
