I just didn’t know when I wrote it that there’d be more books, so I just kind of had to hurry things along. And I had just done a scene in Game Changer, where Scott comes out to his teammates, so I just didn’t want to write another one. But that scene with Scott coming out was not on the show, so Jacob could absolutely do something like that with Shane, and it wouldn’t be repetitive. Did everyone forget that heated rivalry, the long game, and unrivaled are romance books. Why are you mad that the main characters got married, love one another, and want to live and work together. Read something else.

this does not take away from how lonely ilya is lol if anything it emphasizes it by showing that even with svetlana, ilya still feels as though he has no one. his loneliness is not physical it's emotional and clinical.

@Lyoko07Sound I disliked show Svetlana and Ilya's relationship too. They made show them have a longer, deeper relationship than Ilya and Shane. Their situationship predates hollanovs, they're friends, they meet often and they communicate. Shane & Ilya only started really communicating in 2017
