-March Madness used to only be on one channel and you only got 4 games a day
-You could only watch NFL games that were designated for your region
-You had to use a VCR (and hope it worked properly) to record a game

This is what "institutional" is. It's expensive to be poor, and the system is designed to keep poor people poor. It doesn't matter if a few people beat the system. A few people win at casinos, too, but casinos still make a shit ton of money.

Poverty is expensive in a way that people don’t understand. If you can’t afford a dentist you have long term teeth damage. Not affording healthy food means poor health. Not affording ‘good schools’ means missed opportunities. It is a compounding cycle.

Another sad day for the city of Boston. In front of Robert Parish, no less. This used to be a place where basketball fans cherished the game itself, not the worthless activity of throwing your hands in the air just because someone in the next section did it. In this city's glory days, people would have just enjoyed the Payton Pritchard-Pat Spencer matchup without looking for another source of entertainment. It's time for Boston to regain its pride. Restore its integrity. And, once and for all, stop doing the wave.
