Hunter Biden@HunterBiden·
When I heard about Senator Graham’s death last night, the first thing I thought about was not all the things he said and did in service of Donald Trump. I thought of the time before Donald Trump when he was a brother to Senator John McCain. A time when senators from different parties could fight about politics and still be friends. A time when a conservative Republican from South Carolina could say of my father: “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, you’ve got a problem. He’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in politics. As good a man as God ever created.” That is the Senator Graham I will remember today. Not because I have forgotten what came after. Because in that memory there is hope. Hope for a country where brothers can fight like hell over policy and still share a meal, and a laugh, and the loss of the people they love. I will choose to remember the time before Trump. Because I believe in an America after Trump.

#FKR, the jig is up already. Before you post the next misdirection, half-truth, or bogus story, take a second to think about the devastation Karen Read has unleashed with your help. And no, I’m not talking about Michael Proctor’s or Sean Goode’s text messages. Those deserve criticism on their own. I’m talking about Colin Albert, Brian Albert, Brian Higgins, Jen McCabe, Matt McCabe, Julie Nagel, and so many others who have spent the last four years being publicly accused of murder, conspiracy, and covering up the death of a Boston police officer. Their reputations have been dragged through the mud, their families have been harassed, and the trajectory of their lives has been permanently changed. For what? If Karen had accepted responsibility from the beginning, she likely could have avoided prison altogether. She might still have her job at Fidelity, still be teaching night classes for Bill Read, and still be living in her home. I also have it on good authority that the O’Keefes were fond of Karen and may have eventually forgiven her if she had shown genuine remorse and accepted responsibility. Instead, the strategy became preserving her "reputation" by accusing nearly everyone else. Ironically, that strategy accomplished the exact opposite. Her reputation is now defined by years of conspiracy theories, false accusations, and finger-pointing that have forever altered the lives of innocent people. And just take the Brian Higgins theory and think about it for half a second. It may be the most implausible of them all. We’re supposed to believe that after roughly 10 days of texting and one awkward garage kiss initiated by Karen, Higgins became so consumed with jealousy that he murdered his friend, framed the woman he supposedly wanted to be with, and then relied on numerous other people to help cover it all up? He loses his friend. He loses the girl. He risks his career, pension, decades in prison, and entire future. What exactly was the upside for him, again? After two trials, there is still no evidence placing John O’Keefe inside 34 Fairview after 12:32 a.m., and no coherent explanation for how the “John died in the house” theory fits the digital or physical evidence. At some point, you have to stop asking whether a conspiracy is theoretically possible and start asking whether it is actually supported by evidence. Those are two very different questions.

SHE HIT HIM AND LEFT HIM TO DIE
SHE HIT HIM AND LEFT HIM TO DIE@TitosKarenRead·
Since Karen is sure of John’s time of death based solely on the “phone data” she must also know that the phone data tells us this: 12:31:59-12:32:07- Her SUV shifts into reverse at 24 mph. 12:32:09- John manually locks his phone. 12:32:16- John’s phone is silenced forever.

I've never used WhatsApp to communicate with Proctor, Mello or Cosgrove. I've never communicated with Proctor or Cosgrove period. I have whatsapp. I use it to communicate with two people who are out of the country because thats the way I can communicate(text, call) with them, because they're out of the country. It's not set to auto delete. A little different than using signal that you've set to auto delete to communicate with someone in the same state as you indicted for witness intimidation relating to your murder case. Hope that helps
Karyn Lisk@KarynLisk

Hmmm do innocent people use what’s app? Do you have a what’s app that you communicate with Proctor, Melli, Cosgrove? Can we check your phone? I bet there is some doozey messages! But ok saying she had signal proves she’s guilty? So Michael Proctor is guilty by that logic.

I am absolutely crushed by this news. The greatest advocate for MA High school sports around and a tremendous person. Going to miss my random calls and you are in my prayers 🙏

With an extremely heavy heart, I pass along that Donato "Danny V" Ventura passed away last night after a 7 month battle with cancer. He was a great journalist (best in Boston School Sports history), a fantastic guy, the best husband and a great friend to so many of us. So sad🙏

Would like to thank @BostonGlobe for this retrospective on Danny V., a longtime colleague and, more importantly, friend. Everything about him in this story is true. Warm guy. Big heart. At his core he was as gentle as they come. And he had a great, great laugh. You’ll be missed, Donato, but not forgotten. 😢 bostonglobe.com/2026/07/08/spo…

My heart is broken. I can't believe this. Without question, Danny Ventura was the greatest journalists in Boston sports history. He poured everything he had into covering high school sports and did it at the highest level for decades. Danny, thank you for everything. There aren't enough words to express how much you'll be missed. You meant so much to so many people. You gave us countless memories, told the stories that mattered, and inspired generations of young journalists to follow in your footsteps. Look after us, my friend.

Before his page got hacked and before he passed, Danny Ventura sent me a really nice message on here, and it meant a lot from someone I looked up to for a long time. A legend in the field who made an immense impact on the state. RIP to a journalism/Massachusetts legend.
