Keep in mind, we are nearing $40T in debt. The government takes in $5T in revenue and spend $7T per year at this time, adding about $2T in debt per year. Whatever happens over next few months and years…. higher inflation and higher interest rates in the long term. And rates at 10% or higher mean that interest alone on the national debt will jump to $4T or more. This may put us on a fast track to bond market collapse and hyperinflation.
