The Temple Institute has recently declared that it is time to build the Third Temple in Jerusalem, "So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand...." New Testament Prophecies Matthew 24:15> When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place… Note: Jesus warns of a future event in a literal “holy place” — the inner sanctuary of a future Temple. Note: The Antichrist sets up an image (likely in the Temple) and demands worship. Revelation 14:9–11 > …If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark…Note: Reinforces the worship system tied to the desecration. 1. There will be a rebuilt Jewish Temple (3rd Temple) in Jerusalem during the Tribulation. 2. Daily sacrifices will resume — then be stopped at the midpoint. 3. The Antichrist will enter the Holy of Holies and declare himself to be God. 4. An image of the beast will be set up for enforced worship.
