This is a crazy statement given the equipment truck that has been at LIV events for years is fully stocked with every grip, shaft, or club you could imagine. And the guy who handles it all is one of the nicest and hardest working people. Weird for Brooks to double down on this.
Chris McKee@mrmckee

Brooks Koepka was asked if any LIV players have reached out to him to ask about his transition back to the PGA Tour but says he's changed his phone number. He also goes on to explain how PGA Tour players have better access to on site equipment trucks that apparently LIV doesn't.

Darren Dreger reported on TSN's That's Hockey on May 13 that the Maple Leafs were told not only by Matthews but by a fair number of players on the roster that the addition of size and grit up front was a top priority: “I'm thinking back to the exit interviews at the end of this season and the messaging from some of the players, Auston Matthews included, and his belief that the Leafs need more size, a little bit more grit up front.” They don't necessarily need all gritty guys, but they certainly need some guys who can play aggressively while also adding a lot of offensive and defensive help. Think a Tom Wilson-esque player; someone who doesn't care for anyone but his teammates, will take advantage wherever he can, but also score you 30 goals and give you 200+ hits a season.

A few weeks back I said at Chayka’s presser that he strikes me as ruthless (I don’t mean that in a bad way), but Dreger (take it with a grain of salt) is reporting that he and Mats met with Berube for 5 hours to pick his brain on what’s wrong with the team, only to fire him.

As you watch Aaron Rai in the PGA Championship, you might notice he uses iron covers for his clubs and wears two gloves — two habits often viewed as golf faux pas. But both are actually inspiring. Rai grew up in a working-class family in England, where his father sacrificed heavily to support his golf career. When Aaron got an expensive set of irons as a kid, his dad would clean every groove with a pin and baby oil after practice because the clubs meant that much to them. The iron covers became a reminder to appreciate what you have. And the two gloves? Rai started wearing them as a kid during cold-weather golf in England and eventually became so comfortable with the feel that he never stopped. Not gimmicks. Just gratitude… and comfort.

Both these guys will have loads of options and I would be shocked if either chooses Toronto

Darren Raddysh vs Rasmus Andersson - Who are you signing if they'd come to Toronto as a FA? First, lets take a look at Darren Raddysh - He put up nice numbers in his overage season in Erie at 21, 81 points in 62 games. His 5th season in the OHL. Getting better every year. Then his 6th year in the AHL he set a career high with 51 points in 50 games. Again took time to figure it out but when he did.. excellent. Then his 3rd full season in the NHL he just set a career high of 70 points in 73 games. Pretty much doubling his average from the prio 2 seasons where he did manage a respectable 33 and 37 points. This year Hedman missed a ton of time and Raddysh took advantage of the opportunity being The man in Tampa with the future Hall of famer out with injuries and personal issues. What do you think #Leafs nation? I don't know much about his game other than he was their #1 this year and is a big right shot from the point. i've heard it described as a real bomb, something the Leafs haven't had on the point since Bryan McCabe.. and could really change the look of their PP. Clearly has figured it out with time as he's shown in every league he's played in. What kind of term and $ makes sense for this Leafs team if they offered him a contract? With the cap increasing massively i think we'll end up seeing some contracts signed that look like massive overpays vs some peers just because of that cap increase % wise. Now let's look at Rasmus Andersson. If Raddysh is the late-blooming offensive wild card who just exploded, Andersson is the blue-chip, steady-eddie horse. Unlike Raddysh, Andersson had high pedigree from day one. Drafted in the 2nd round by Calgary in 2015, he stepped right into the OHL with the Barrie Colts and dominated immediately, putting up 64 and 60 points in back-to-back years as an 18- and 19-year-old. No overage padding required here..The raw talent was obvious early, and he made the jump to the pros seamlessly. He quickly cemented himself as a top-four fixture in Calgary, peaking offensively a few years back with a 50-point, +30 campaign. But check out his chaotic 2025-26 season: after grinding through a tough environment in Calgary (48 GP, 30 pts), he got shipped to the Vegas Golden Knights at the trade deadline. He fit like a glove on a contending blue line, chipping in another 17 points in 33 games and eating massive minutes during their playoff run so far. More than double the NHL experience than Raddysh as well. Overall i'm not sure which guy fits the Leafs better. Depends who would come and at what price and term. I think the leafs would 100% want either of these guys though and it would be a nice addition to their Right side with Tanev aging and his health and durability unknown.
