@LRChauchat Me too, I couldn’t stop watching it… and @C3PMeme and other mememates were there. He was near where Corey was shot and killed. So many lives changed that day.

Where were you when it happened? I was a month out from giving birth to my second child and July 13th was my shower day. My friend hosted at her beautiful home and being surrounded by my loved ones was so special. I knew I was gonna miss President Trump’s speech live, so I looked forward to kicking back and watching it after cleaning up and getting home. My shower ended just after 3pm PST, and my mom and friends and I started cleaning up. A few minutes later, I heard my friend gasp and say “omg Trump was shot.” We all froze for a second of disbelief and then rushed over to her phone to see what the heck happened. I immediately thought he was killed because who misses a shot like that? At first, all we could see on her phone screen was the moment he was shot, then blood on his face, and then secret service bringing him to the ground. We were in tears thinking we all just watched the worst thing happen. I then rushed over to my phone, which I immediately noticed had tons of missed texts/calls, and my meme team chat was lighting up. (Some of those messages saying how my Trump video played at the rally again.) I immediately searched for more videos and was relieved to see he was alive. Then the videos of him with his fist up and shouting “FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT” started rolling out and we all were in awe but also felt anger and horror about what just took place. From that moment on, EVERYTHING changed - for him, for us, for the nation. But nevertheless, President Trump won the election just 4 months later and it’s crazy to think that without that millimeter of movement, he would not be here today. We will all remember Corey Comperatore and his family, along with the two others that were shot and injured. Such a paradox of emotions exist on that day for so many. We all still have so many questions and I pray they get to the bottom of it all. Where were you when it happened?
