I remember David Luiz speaking about how Arteta had brought the fun back to Arsenal after Emery. It’s a long time since we’ve seen signs of that now though. This all feels very similar to the end of Emery’s spell. He couldn’t turn things round, Arteta needs to quickly.

20 defeats from 60 league games is a damning statistic for Arteta. Yes, his squad has been decimated in the early part of this season, but these opening two defeats aren’t just a blip. Losing is the norm under him. Huge challenge to turn that round under this sort of pressure.
