Totally agree with this. Understanding what’s going on and why it’s happening will help to support and reduce the likelihood it occurs again. No one wants to act out the way these kiddos do! They are hurting, whether they know why or not.

Again📢 Trauma informed, responsive is"NOT"about excusing behaviour. My lens is not about excusing the behaviour,but trying to explain it.Once you understand the behaviour, why a young person is subconsciously acting out,you can usually find a way to create ways to help them.🧠🌱
