There is a positive momentum for enlargement and a clear opportunity for Serbia to seize it. During my meetings today in Belgrade with President @avucic, PM Macut @SerbianGov and Parliament speaker @anabrnabic, I stressed the importance of progressing towards EU accession through concrete actions and acceleration of reforms - electoral law, fight against corruption, media freedom and alignment with EU’s common foreign and security policy. The EU remains strongly committed to the accession of Serbia as a stable, peaceful and prosperous country, having dealt with the legacy of the past and having chosen to embrace its democratic and European future.
