BTC in DeFi can grow to $100b+ I think @babylonlabs_io will be one of the protocols that help it get to that size. BTCfi is something I've been studying a lot this year. The way I think about it is essentially the rental (yield) market on top of real estate (Bitcoin). Babylon is in the top 10 for TVL, perhaps somewhat overlooked with the other major DeFi players in this list. One of the important things here that I think even I myself look over at times, is using BTC natively. No wrappers and no bridges. Add these BTC vaults on top of DeFi's core apps for composability and I think you get something really cool. Just like we've seen the growth of something like $USDE from @ethena via @pendle_fi + @aave markets, I think we can see $BTC (in it's perhaps Babylon staked form) integrate into many of the top 10 DeFi apps today - whether that's @aave, @MorphoLabs or @eulerfinance + others. I think if a 1:1 mint & burn bridge like we have with USDC/USDT0 comes out or 0 slippage LZ integrations, then we have one of the strongest BTC products around. What is good yield on BTC? 5-10% range would be incredible imo and I think it's possible, perhaps not by restaking alone but a combination of unique DeFi products. Good to see @babylonlabs_io going hard on this - maybe time for us to cook!

Unpopular opinion: Projects need to time their airdrops with the market. If they miss the ideal window, it's better to wait for the next best opportunity - regardless of community backlash - as long as they have enough dry powder to keep the momentum going (which Linea clearly does). Linea understands that without strong on-chain metrics, it won’t be able to justify or sustain a high FDV - something critical for long-term growth and market perception. If they launched a TGE today with just $180M in TVL, they’d risk becoming another $50M MC chain like Scroll. Their strategy seems straightforward: leverage MetaMask as a distribution partner for the Linea chain (potentially exclusively). They just need more time and the right market conditions to make it work.

yields are pretty hard for delta neutral strategies now but i think what we had for the past year was too easy now stablecoins 15%, still very attractive compared to other fixed income classes. i believe it's the perveived risks of crypto, like the recent hacking news. but honestly most risks are addressable or can be mitigated.

PSA, don't forget that you need to: 1. Claim your BGT from the vault. 2. Queue a BGT boost into a validator. 3. Accept the BGT boost into a validator. 4. Claim your HONEY rewards. There is currently 1.5m BGT in circulation, only 500k of which is "activated" by boosting. See it through this example: Imagine there is 100 units of rewards to be distributed to a class of 10 people on Tuesday. But only 3 people turn up for class on Tuesday, it means that those 3 people get the rewards that were meant for 10 people! (TL;DR - more rewards).
