@CA_EDD My second time dealing with EDD and everything doesn’t just flow sadly and calling is a waste it hangs up on you too many callers it says even at 0801 🤷🏽‍♀️

POV: you apply online using myEDD and everything just...flows. Applying online through myEDD lets you apply, upload documents, and track your claim — all in one place. Much easier and faster than applying by paper. Learn more at myEDD.edd.ca.gov.

@ca_edd It's 2026 - Why don't you have callbacks in place? People calling all day long and can't get a live person at EDD to help them.

Hi @DanTachella, We're experiencing a high volume of calls at this time. As an alternative to calling, you can check the status of your DI claim by using SDI Online.  From your home page: Select the Claim ID of your current claim. Select Request Claim Update in the Claim Information section. Choose a Request Type from the dropdown menu and select Next. Add your specific question to your claim. @CA_EDD I filed a disability claim a month ago. Got my medical in a week ago. I’ve called 60+ times to “maximum callers”
