What is the apparent and psychological difference between kneeling and weeping before a statue of Mary and the sane in a bedroom with Jesus?

@caaasiisaac @ChristianWifeMo Please explain how this is harmful to the soul. To me it does nothing but enrich the soul, as we are appreciating the loving Mother of God himself. Similarly with the Saints, we are simply sharing love with the people whom God shares his up-most love with. It’s all positive.

@caaasiisaac @ChristianWifeMo If there was some sort of actual harm to the world that gets caused from praying to Mary then I would agree, but there is absolutely nothing wrong, it’s only positive because we are simply showing love and appreciate to God’s Mother. Again, what’s bad about this?

@caaasiisaac @ChristianWifeMo All we’re doing is honoring the mother of God. It really baffles me that ppl like you try to care so hard about this and there are ppl who even probably have killed each other over this. It’s no wonder humans don’t care about their mothers anymore, look at America today.

@youngdongbro @ChristianWifeMo Yeah. All those prayers should have been directed to God, and the fact that they lasted only a very short time does not change the fact that they were extremely inappropriate for a human being.

@youngdongbro @ChristianWifeMo Dont you downplay the "strong acknowledgment " everybody show for Mary by acting as if it never amounted to idolatry or deification. You can deny it all you want, but these actions are extremely excessive and go far beyond a tribute for a blessed human.

@caaasiisaac @ChristianWifeMo No one is solely praying to Mary as if she is God. It’s simply a strong acknowledgment of her significance. To me it simply highlights the importance of Mothers in our lives. What’s the problem with this?

@youngdongbro @ChristianWifeMo Catholics exclaim that Mary should be glorified for being the "Mother of God," and institute a prayer for her and the title of "Queen”, as if she were God's equal in heaven. That speaks volumes. She was merely a very blessed woman.

@ChristianWifeMo What baffles me is how ppl are so against praying to the MOTHER of God? Ppl are acting like she has zero importance… I feel like, It’s not a coincidence that, only relatively recently, it’s common for ppl to hate their parents / have separated parents, etc..
