In a YouGov poll @caabu commissioned, 57% of total respondents are in favour of suspending UK arms exports to Israel, while only 18% of respondents oppose.

This piece suggesting the UK may unblock arms export licences to Israel is let us say strange. Peter Kyle UK business secretary will surely know arms export licences were suspended for 2 reasons, Reason 1: Israel was not allowing ICRC access to Palestinian political prisoners. That remains true. Indeed Israel wants to make it easier to impose the death penalty on these prisoners. Reason 2. As an occupying power, Israel had a duty to supply aid for Gaza. In mid-December UK for. sect. Yvette Cooper said "nowhere near enough" aid was entering Gaza. Israel is also trying to stop UK NGOs delivering that aid. thejc.com/news/uk/govern…
