They never even watched Pele with their own eyes and just go by what their grandfathers or great grandfathers say. If you actually watch the footage you can see the skill gap

Put Messi on muddy pitches with heavy balls and no protection from referees or give Pelé modern training and nutrition. Era comparisons go both ways

You cant compare players from the 1960s to modern day players, football wasnt as competitive back then to the modern era. Its actually laughable if you watch a 1960s match players are just way better today
