$VT is widely considered to be the best etf ever created by mankind.
However in 2026, when you own $VT, 65% of your holdings are US mega caps.
This is ok but not ideal.
$VT can be balanced with a sprinkling of $VXUS + $BND if you don’t mind some volatility in months ahead.

Why is that?
1. You have not bought any stock when they were cheaper .
2. If you did buy, then you took profit on small moves.
3. Now you have bought at the highs and are down 20-40%.
Nothing can be done now , bear market has not even begun yet.
Just take it as a lesson for future , and buy and hold at lows.

Problem with fintwit is it’s full of dentists, accountants, warehouse workers, DoorDash drivers pretending to be traders. If I need my root canal, do I go to dentist or carpenter? A lot of unsuspecting sheep is following these impostors who do not understand finance.
