His grace is sufficient for me, for his power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. I am weak, but Christ is strong.

I love reading these posts. Like what did they think people did for like... basically all of human history? What about before DST was a thing? Or before time zones were even invented in the first place? Are we quietly admitting our ancestors were just stronger than us? XD

People that like standard time are strange folks. Is there actually people that like it dark at 8:00 all summer? And 5:30 in the winter? Permanent daylights savings is the answer.

@ClaytonConway65 Actually legit in some places there is. I work for a bank; some of our branches are limited on how much the Reserve will send. Because somehow people read "won't make more" as "gone overnight" and started hoarding them. Even though pennies from the 60s are still common. 🤷

I can’t believe Dairy Queen thinks people are stupid. There is not a penny shortage. They stopped making pennies because it costs more than a penny to make them. Just another company trying to cheat us out of our money.

In other words: I am begging neurotypicals to mediate on John 9 more often, for their own spiritual benefit.

As [Jesus] was passing by, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," Jesus answered. "This came about so that God’s works might be displayed in him."

@Proton_Pass D. Character length = brute-force protection. Memorability = not likely to be constantly reused. The privacy nerds can tend to forget: the human is the weakest link in the chain, not the theoretical complexity.

@Quickdianah @YourCalvinist @MrsYourCalvinis Also I appreciate your willingness to be open! A rare quality to find, both in these kinds of discussion, and on the open forum of Twitter. I pray that God continues to bless you and use you to minister to others. <3

@Quickdianah @YourCalvinist @MrsYourCalvinis That is what our souls need, and what I wish the Reformed movement would be more willing to give us. Sorry for the thread; yet again, Twitter is far too limiting for me, haha. But I hope this helps frame a little why we find this kind of advice frustrating rather than helpful.

It deeply disappoints me that Reformed theology - which is rich with God's love and grace - is so filled with people who fundamentally do not understand neurodivergence, and who rob that love and grace from the people who need it most through Reformed-palatable Prosperity Gospel.

How should Christians understand and fight intrusive thoughts? This essay challenges modern psychological explanations of OCD and points believers to a biblical understanding of intrusive thoughts, emphasizing Christ, Scripture, and the hope of sanctification. ow.ly/fwnF50YYZuh

@CeliaTheVixen Yeah. I was on Vyvanse too. Unfortunately my experience was way more terrifying and I was only on it 5 days. :( But, just back to square 1 I guess. Among all the anxiety/fear, I experience a few improvements, so I know meds *will* help. The trick is finding one that works.

Started legit ADHD meds this month. One day in and it's already been very overwhelming. But I'll adjust I'm sure. But getting a first peek into what it'll be like has me starting to understand how so much of what I've struggled with... isn't actually just everyday life.
