The exact same election rules are now in place when Republicans won the presidency, house and senate in 2024. But now suddenly Republicans are unable to win another election without the SAVE Act because everyone has been cheating. Makes sense.

I read the first hundred pages of The Road last year, and read the first hundred pages of Blood Meridian this year, and in both instances, gave up, because the books never clicked. Lyrical writing, but the characters are reduced to way down Maslow's hierarchy, and the tone is so relentlessly bleak, with almost no humanity breaking through, it was difficult to feel anything besides the flint clicking against the cold steel in the overwhelming darkness. I know many of you love it, but to me, it's overwrought, overstylized, and overhyped.

Tucker has all of these incredibly lazy but shockingly effective rhetorical tricks. He says “everyone knows that” about something everyone doesn’t know and isnt true. He says “no reasonable person can disagree” about a wildly unreasonable claim. I’m always shocked by the people who fall for this crap.

We are sending our kids to school to memorize facts that AI can retrieve in 0.3 seconds. We're grading them on essays that AI writes better than their teachers. We're preparing them for jobs that won't exist by the time they graduate. The entire education system is training humans to compete with machines at what machines do best. That's not education. That's sabotage. The schools that survive will teach thinking, not memorizing. Creating, not repeating. Discerning, not obeying. Every other school is a museum that doesn't know it yet.
