Gandalf hardly ever “casts a spell”. He’s just inherently magical. His magic envelopes him. Dumbledore actually knows magic & does incantations. His magic is far more spectacular. So I’d say they live in universes with completely different magical rules and cannot interact. But if they COULD, then Merlin from The Sword in the Stone would kick both their asses.
