A few years ago I got the standard Eastern Jungle Gym swing connectors, but instead of getting the recommended 6’ beams I got 12’ beams and extra chain to make the swings longer.
Probably the highest ROI in terms of time spent. Almost daily for an hour sans winter.

I think about this all the time.
I think its a bigger issue than kids using screens themselves.
Imagine the impact of having a parent who regularly gives their attention to their phone over their child.

The only YouTube Premium feature I actually want is for the “show fewer shorts” button to actually do something. Short-form videos are cancer.

Again at 3.
And will say it at 4 too.
I think for dads the bonding gets stronger the more active interaction we have with them. We don’t really have the same bonding experience out the gate that mums have.

I was a fairly early adopter of websockets. It is still a great tech, but SSE works better for a class of problems.
