Picking up another stock delivery this morning. Don’t know what fruit and veg there will be until we get it but we will have some more venison mince. Open for collections today, tomorrow and Thursday, 1:30 til 2:30, outside 54 Holtye Avenue.

No more meal deliveries until Monday but made sure that everyone had enough food for the weekend in last nights delivery. Taking the rest of the weekend off but if anyone is without food, our freezer is well stocked and ready for emergency distribution.

In response to the current difficulties created by COVID-19. We have open our community fridge earlier than we had planned to enable the distribution of surplus foods and making meals for those in need. Please follow us for updates of our stock and activities.

This is a very difficult decision, we feel we still need to support (and feed) our most vulnerable but the need for social distancing and self isolation makes it unsafe for us to continue. Rest assured that we will be back as soon as it is safe to do so. 2/3

Following the recommendation of the government earlier this week and the steps taken by CofE we are very sad to announce that as of 4:30pm today the Quarry Café will be closed until further notice. 1/3.

Can you smell the bacon? It smells so good. We have unsmoked streaky & smoked back bacon, add eggs, sausage, hash browns, beans, mushroom and pancakes for a breakfast to brighten this cold January morning. #TogetherIsBetter

Quarry Café Christmas opening. 25th Dec - Café Closed. 1st Jan. Open 10am to 12noon ish for a New Year Breakfast. (Christmas Day @SarahHowland & Family will be hosting a family Christmas meal in the Community Room for anyone on their own)

Slightly manic morning, coffee machine had a little glitch, plumber in to repair a tap and fire extinguishers serviced but we are still running and everything is in full working order. Think that deserves a slice of Cheryl’s @Lodgecoffeeshop Coffee and Walnut cake! #allgood
