@cafebourgeois Doubles and triples need to be raised. And each rotation family’s bv range can be no more than 1.0 points. The difference in BV between triples and quads should be no greater than the total of BV of a jump + the total GOE possible. That’s my take.

That’s the thing reducing the number of quads is literally so useless. One thing I agreed wholeheartedly with Ilia on is that it would only make sense to raise the BV of the other elements instead of reducing jumps because it just doesn’t change anythinggg

controversial opinion: reducing the jumps in the free skate to 6 won't also reduce the number of quads or raise the artistry side. Now people will try to make all of 6 of those quads, to gain more points with a lessened number of jumps.
