@NickyH4WK5 Not only were those other 3 sold they are now much worse and more expensive than they were when in public ownership. Vote Tory if you want lower taxes no problem. But you have to know the downside to that is public services are worse and/or get sold

@vonstrenginho Dont know about other Euro leagues but in Australia it's not liked at all. It's not quite as big a mess as Prem Lge has made but not far off. And it's not improved as it's gone on (think its 3rd season now). Just dont think it works in fast sport like football

@PaulSkillington How is it bollocks? Once you retire you become a net receiver (quite rightly). We are all now living longer (a good thing). But it needs paying for. You either cut pensions/care for old folk, increase tax for working age folk or increase number of tax payers by immigration.

@PaulSkillington Dont matter if you want them or not, the country collapses without them. Same in any country. 65+ yo's living longer so need more working age folk to pay for them. Not enough UK working age to pay for rising age of older folk. Need working age outsiders to come in from elsewhere.

@PaulSkillington You need to earn at least 18k per year to bring wife over and an extra 3k on top of that per child brought over. Not sure on this one but think they also have to pay about 500 quid per year to access NHS.

Not just in politics but British society as a whole. There's a toxic environment I don't like one bit, with division and hatred ubiquitous, mostly with xenophobic undertones and people that would never normally have voted Tory or backed BoJo now fooled into loving him.

Dont think theres any easy way of getting people down to non league clubs. Think ilson the past couple of years got it about right - the odd £1 all-in game, get the juniors involved etc.
