We used metabolic modelling to study how microbial interactions in the gut relate to disease. Many interesting findings, from links between IBD and H2S-consuming bacteria, to colorectal cancer and the metabolism of ethanol:

How do microbial interactions look like in dysbiosis? We performed a large-scale metagenome-wide metabolic modelling study and found that it largely depends on the disease.
