I am full of gratitude that my article 'Invoking ‘the Customary’ in the Formalization of Land Reform in Liberia and Sierra Leone' is out in the world. www-tandfonline-com.proxy-ub.rug.nl/share/SNICS4IP… In it, I analyse the work that invoking reference to 'the customary' does, and what it can tell us.

I am also extremely grateful to @FBAFolke for their generous funding of my research, and @SuSoRUG for providing me with an additional grant that I used to turn my initial research findings into posters for the communities we worked in.

This research was possible because of the generosity and expertise of the people who shared their time and knowledge with me. It would have been impossible without the labor and knowledge of the teams I worked with. (Kou, Regina, Joseph, Josephine, Ibrahim, Mamadou, and Kabah)

This is a magnificent achievement and sets the bar high for the rest of us! Universities should not profit from violence. Divulge! Divest!
