Today, we did our first crash course on least restrictive approaches to self-harm. This is part of our RRP QI ✨️ Staff left saying they were full of knowledge and improved confidence. Celebrating and supporting our newly trained RRP advocates in Park House Women's Service.

@PiggyParadise There's some tutorials online for babies also where they glue the lids on.

@PiggyParadise We risk assessed based on the ladies we had at the time - you can make them with just water and food dye and glitter if you need. To make the two colours we used baby oil but you can also opt for something edible like olive oil. Ours were only small travel bottles 100mls ish.

Today we made sensory bottles on poplar to support our ladies with calm down techniques and help with mindfulness as part of our #SelfHarmAwarenessDay #Safewards
