@soilysound @KathyBurke I felt like there was a decent mix on show here but you're not wrong. Lots of people have this fixed idea of certain groups coming over on one boat on one date and they kind of stick to that. It's obviously nonsense.

@cake_von @KathyBurke The suspicion is always that this is actually American cultural imperialism at work because whenever there’s an incongruous ethnic minority in a period piece like this it’s usually a black guy, rather than the far more likely in the British context South Asian.
